I've felt strongly that the ability to own a holding shouldn't be tied to disciplines.
I propose that the old way be reinstated.
Holdings up to maximum (Base value is one without any skills) without penalty obviously have no penalty.
Each additional holding incurs a 25% cumulative to production.

I agree and was very opposed to the change.
There was no production penalty, a PC can only manage one holding without the skill that allowed you to manage two. a PC could OWN as many as they wanted to and could find and afford.
PCs who owned more than one simply made arrangements to have other manage them.

So maybe instead of creating a new discipline specifically for savage characters to be able to own holdings, this should be reinstated. It would be a simple fix
