The old mans head drops for a second and nods his head from side to side
"I'm getting to old for this..."
He then takes a deep breath, clears his throat, and resumes his normal speaking tone
"Rest assured Spike, you do not want me as a meal. My shiny metal bits would get stuck in your teeth. I think you have a more than fitting meal before you. All we are asking is that you take it outside. Please do so."
Francescos hand hand motions to the door

the creature watches the old man make his hand motions towards the door. It leans in an sniffs the man's hands and the tangle of wings twitches.
The creature uses his teeth to peel the skin of the troll leg, thick and hairy like a dirty dishrag, as blood and tissue spat onto the cold marble floor in putrid splats.
"Door." The creature says, chewing on the limb and flicking his tail hard enough to to shake the wooden cross timbers, and give the glass chandelier a little shake.

"There are some who call me, spike."
:after a few hours, ulfgar comes walking back to the keep, he is unarmed, more stable on his feet and was now sporting an eye patch. He stopped in the courtyard for a second and took a deep breath before walking back into the keep and approached Francesco this time with a more calm demeanor and noticeable tinge of embarrassment:
:ulfgar sighs: "saying ah'm fair affronted, ah don't think is enough, so ah'd say i owe yeh an apology :ulfgar sticks his hand out: i will admit i was blootert and acting a bampot of mehself, if yeh be wantin we can still beat the piss out of each other, and teh be honest, ah wouldnt blame yeh."
:ulfgar looks Francesco in the eyes: "either way, i apologize" :ulfgar stands in front of him awaiting the knights response:

As the time passed by Francesco kept trying to usher the large gargoyle out of the keep...with no success. Leaving Altearez to finish the job he notices Ulfgar enter the keep. He listens to the dwarfs words and then there is a moment of quite.
"I accept your apology Ulfgar Silverbrow. You show great humility in returning and holding yourself accountable for your actions. I will assume that your apology means that you are retracting your challenge. In the old days an act of penance would be required, as to be determined by the highest ranking knight in the area. It would usually be something like manual labor in the fields, to teach humility. Do wish for an act of penance?"

"Karakus? Side?" The creature says in a low rumbling tone. and proceeds to bite the toes off the troll foot, the long gnarled nails cracking in its teeth like children with hard candy.
The creatures holds out one big toe in his palm out to Alteriz , like a reward.

:thankful Francesco accepted his apology, ulfgar breathed a sigh, obviously the knight had not had many dealings with dwarves but ulfgar gave him the benefit for the doubt :
"how 'bout i owe ya a pint and a favor. sound barry?"

Francesco gives Ulfgar a pat on the back and chickles a little
"Ha! I was jesting with you about the last part about the penance. You are not a knight nor squire so no such thing is expected of you. Your apology is appreciated Ulfgar and more than suffecient. You are a good strong warrior, and honorable to boot. Don't let anger make you lose your way in the world."
The old knight stands up and adjusts his sword belt. He bends over with a grunt to adjust some of the straps on his armor. He starts to make his way towards the door
"I will have to take you up on the pint later friend. Lady Esmerelda has been kind enough to set aside some time to escort me to the villages so I can get to know some of the people in the area and I do not wish to waste her precious time. Stay well Ulfgar!"

:ulfgar smiles at Francesco and picks up shadowbane from the floor and rests it on his shoulder:
"be off with yeh then laddy, see to her majesty, i aft teh take of this little fashion statement ":as ulfgar taps his eye patch with his finger:
:ulfgar then turns to Altearez and the newest visitor of haven:
"oy!! Al, if yer goin teh keep it, yer goin to 'ave teh clean up after it"
:ulfgar gives a wink at azra:
