Lonely Duty

[McEwan]

*McEwan sits quietly on the hill overlooking the gate to the Anchent Graveyard, his head down. Only the occational glint of moonlight showing that his eyes are indeed open.*

*After a moment he looks up at the spectral solder standing beside him*

"Naught in, and naught out, Other than that, we donna wanna be a'startin' nothin"

*after the ghost nods he returns to his vidual*

[Neshca]

*As McEwan sit at his post an Avaina walks up toward him. Says nothing till he gets close enough so McEwan can see his face.*

"You are silly for sitting out here without someone to watch your backside. I was asked to make sure you make back into town safely. Is the candy helping if not I got some munkiso root it can bring you out of a sleep. I can give you some to chew on if you like?"

*Walks up and sit down beside the hargerd dwarf.*

[McEwan]

*Smiles at the aviana and show a peace of the hard-candy between his teeth, then looks up at the phantom guardsman beside him and motions to Neshca* "another irregular." *then turns back to his new companion*

"Aye, it be a'helpin' some, an' the company be welcome. On the marrow I be a'going ta town ta see iffin' I can talk ta the elder. Mayhapps then I can sleep."

[Neshca]

*Nods at McEwan answer and helps him keep watch.*

"So what is the story of this place? Why is it so that teh dead walk freely around here?"

[McEwan]

*Shrugs*

"That be why I be a'talkin' ta the elder on the marrow."

[Neshca]

"Why we not go find him now? Maybe someone can tell you story of here. "

*Buckels down and looks around.. pull his cloak in tight over his shoulders....*


"Grmm the winds is cold like a mountain pass in middle of kiloe season."

[McEwan]

"Aye, I be a'thinkin' ya be right."

*Emptys the last of his 'water' skin into his mouth.*

"I need ta be a'fillin' me skin anyway."

[Neshca]

*Hands him his skin and get up. Give McEwan a helping hand up.*

"Than lets go find this Elder person, before it gets to late."
