To keep his dead playthings (i.e., bodies) out of the Inn.

Why is the town even letting him play with dead things in the first place?

Pardon me, Nelkie, but aren't you part of "town?"

Why aren't you doing anything about it, if you're squawking about it here on the board? LOL

Oh wait... you're too busy playing a magic casting Hell Fury who serves an Elf, LOL!

Oh, yeah! Always in need of… <ahem> resources… That’ll be plenty of incentive to frequently come out and play! Amagus is also frequently in need of healing.

Anyway, he's really the good guy here – he’s the one who says we should take prisoners rather than kill our enemies outright. :P

Who doesn't kill an obvious necromancer on sight, hell anyone they saw raising undead would just find an axe in their skull.

Amagus and all you cute fuzzy druids are not food, or so Onyx has been told...
Death=Adder

One of these days...I'm going to cut you into little pieces...

For my entire time playing CARPS, I think only one necromancer was ever killed, and he was a low level PC... (Balthos doesn't count as some tool raised him and he was a vampire). The rest of us all escaped unharmed and lived many days in Elthinar scott free as no one could "prove" we were doing anything bad, or they were scared of the power (Narnian). lol. So I don't think pre-cataclysm really had it in for necromancers, it was all just some "good guy" ploy to get rid of the competition since they were getting their arses kicked. :)

I get to take the blame for both issues. :D
IG; I gave him the cave, I wanted him out, and everyone keeps telling me 'Being Creepy' Isnt a crime punishable by death. When I finally catch him (and I will eventually ;) ) Ill kill him on the spot.
OG; I wrote a good portion of the Magic System, though it has gone thru many revisions, and one of the key points I tried to keep clear (much to Chris's dismay) Is that there is no such thing as Good Magic, or Evil Magic. There is only the One Magic. The good or evil lay only in intent.

Let me just say, in my own defense, it was hard to stay in character and give Amagus a cave and build him a door, knowing OOG the whole time I was giving him exactly what he wanted. Lets hear it for RPing. :)

in my opinion Amagus hasn't been killed yet because depending on how and why he dies it may set a precedent of people killing other town's people over different points of view.. Amagus views his work and undead servants as tools ( I am assuming of course).. where as others in town view them as hideous abominations.. If we killed him for nothing other than offending our sensibilities then what would stop others from killing someone else for the same offenses of sensibility and then go back and say.. "But you killed Amagus for the same reason".. At least that is how I see it and why Amagus is still alive.. at least with him I got a good idea where he stands in Haven.

Todd,

Magic is a tool. You can use that tool for good or evil. Therefore spells can be evil or good though most fall into that neutral position and cannot be judged morally until after its use.

As for killing people for different points of view. THis I find funny because though it is wrong to just kill people for dissagreements I would say the town should definitly have a few steadfast laws the breaking of which cause punishment.

Do not confuse over tolerance for enlightenment.

I figured it was because no one wanted to kill Fesko's PC after he put so much work into costuming and ambiance.

Or, maybe its just 'cause no one wants to soil their hands.
