*he takes the offered hand and kissed it, and then with Midnight at his side/slightly behind he steps through.

"Fare thee well my lady and may peace shine upon you," are the last words he speaks as he departs.

*Donovan turns fully towards Dallid. His eyes narrow and scan the healer from head to toe. He glances at Annika for an instant, then faces Dallid once again.*

"So be it. We will await your return. Fare thee well, Dallid. May the Light see you safely home."

*Donovan nods to Shale and they step through the portal.*

((Haven't been on in a while, so post to me as if you haven't gone through the portal yet))

*Vir-Drake will stand off to the side and address Donovan*

"I will be walking home. If Annika is coming to Haven, I will protect her on our journey. But that's up to her."

*Vir-Drake will nod to Donovan, shake hands with everyone leaving, and bid them a farwell*

*Vir-Drake will then walk back to his camp by Annika*

*The portal closes and Annika looks from Dallid to Vir-Drake. At first she seems somber as the others step through, but when she realizes who is left a goofy grin sweeps across her face for the first time since the trip home.*

"The magical being who scares me, because I don't understand him and the Dark Elf who frightens me, because I wouldn't generally trust one... My Path has indeed led me to where I need to be... Are the two of you ready to trek on?"

*Annika smiles a wide, warm smile at the two of them and she seems genuinely affable to the situation.*

*Annika nods to Dallid and looks at Vir-Drake. Seeing that Drake is determined to escort her back to Haven, she nods to them both and says:* "If we press forth now, we should be able to get a good eight hours of travelling in... Let's move on..."

*As they move further south by southwest, Annika glances back once to the Plains and never again. She is quiet and thoughtful and will probably not engage in conversation the first day, unless invited to do so.*
