And paler still at the mention of Galen... Upon hearing the further betrayal, the eyes narrow uncharacteristically. "Blackguards..." comes a low growl, and one fist clenches.

Meeting Gol's eyes, the young seer gives a nod of thanks to the boy so close of age.

One grey-gloved hand, smeared with ash, raises in a vain attempt to wipe the blood out of the glazed, blue eyes. At Esmerelda's words, the pale skin becomes impossibly paler. As Teela collapses, the youth places a shaking hand on her shoulder, standing obviously through sheer willpower alone, and st...

Alas, if not for the joy of hacking up bloody phlegm, Eilonwy would have been there... and likely died. But since a certain friend was concerned more about my real-life health, I was under "house-arrest" for the weekend. Sounds like I missed some awesome roleplaying.

Melissa wanted you guys to know she just lost power but she'll jump back into whatever you were discussing when it's back.

As a few people can attest, the frilly sage isn't as squishy as they look... not tank material, but not too squishy... Yes, Sage and Knight is a nice combo, indeed. The phys-rep does need more staff lessons, however, since dual-wielding is their usual fave...

I'm actually a bit pumped to playtest the new ideas. The "google" search will be done pre-game; anything after that will be looking for those hidden marks, studying the odd glyphs, etc. on the spot. Should be interesting.

Yeah, what they said. As you know my character's named after a legendary family friend so doesn't count. But mom's full name wasn't Lyssa; it's Ril'liana'lyssa "Raven" Nightshade.

Trust me, every time I've come to NPC camp for hints, I cringe, knowing what a pain in the arse it is for you guys. I'm willing to go with the current clarified rules as Travis also said. The new ideas are interesting (mainly the pre-game random hints) as long as the GMs really like them enough to d...

So Sage hints were supposed to be just for, say, cave situations? If a puzzle drops into your lap in the inn, isn't it still part of a plot?

Exactly. So now the sage'll be "getting fresh air" after using the runes or whatever since the GMs have clarified the rules. Guess I'm just tired. I understand both sides (and the middle areas) but what it comes down to, is sometimes it seems in order to either stop cheaters (er, no you ca...

For the record, Eilonwy does not wander into the dark for personal preferences when seeking intuition. It's to find an NPC. Otherwise, the character concept is "casting" the runes or having visions; so the IG NPC seeking reason is fudged. Guess some fresh air is needed.

A certain Shakespeare title keeps floating to my mind, but I'll leave it to you literary types to figure out which one. Uhm...Taming of the Shrew?? Othello?? Debbi does Dallas?? I'm thinking Much Ado About Nothing, personally. As weird as it was in my example with Esmerelda, if it's how it works, t...

I either RP the time before I head to NPC camp or after; usually the former, giving plenty of time to be attacked or interrupted. Usually it's a trance or casting the rune stones so it makes more sense to RP it and then head to NPC camp for the hint.

My character is odd for a Valk - the clothes are shinier than a discoball. So a bit of a fop really. However, Chris' description of soft-spoken is accurate for the most part with Eilonwy. I have gotten entangled in politics though it was unintentional; the character is more of a diplomat than bureau...
