This is a seldom used skill in play due to the lack of opportunities from game staff and unrealistic ability to use it due to the amount of crazy powerful locks that have been introduced in game. I'm not interested in hearing about how more locks will be introduced in game because it has not been done consistently at either chapter in the entire time I have played.
My proposal is to simply Turn this Basic and Master skill into one Advanced skill called Lock Picking that allows you to pick any lock. This will allow Rogues to actually be OK with there not being as many locks out there. Move Barter to Basic to replace Pick Simple Locks. Convert Dodge to a Master Skill in the core book (Since a large amount of rogues are swapping it already). Replace Dodge in Hero/Villains with...
Knockout Artist - This skill allows you to perform knockouts through a Short weapon. You also add +2 to all of your knockouts.
