The cloaked figure has been walking for some time, checking with the various farmers and towns people to ensure their health and relative comfort. As he nears the outskirts of Haven, he spots the wisp of smoke rising in the distance and heads towards it. A curious sight he is, armed and armored with a cloak and his 'blindfold' in place and the markings of one of the An'Irri. He has no trouble making his way towards the cabin, making sure to remain in plain sight of it with his hands at his sides. Stopping at the door, he pauses and studies the footprints in the snow behind him. "Interesting" he thinks as he gently knocks on the door.

The masked man opens the door and peers out. The room is thick with people.

"Hello pearan."

"Viceroy. Ah, I see you're entertaining guests. Is this a bad time? There is much I wish to discuss with you, as you can imagine, some of which I would only feel comfortable divulging in front of the Kin."

The Lord Marshall stands there, his posture relaxed and at ease. He makes no move to enter, but steals a glance inside the small cabin. When he notices Ashearth and Mary, he raises his voice to make sure they can hear

"Ashearth! Were you not instructed by the Queen to not leave Her lands with Mary in your custody? Or am I mistaken?"

"I'm greatly sorry for any confusion however the restrains on our deal is that i return the child before breakfast, which we will be leaving shortly in order to get back, also Francesco DeLemuerte has escorted us here and is waiting for my affairs to conclude. if there is an issue that i have overlooked or overstepped my boundaries i shan't make that mistake again. there is nothing else besides the law sir, as you very well know. in fact while you are here i would like to officially petition for a chance to be one of your town guards, i believe i am more qualified than an outlaw which was made a guard out of punishment."

When the beast man raises his body upon standing on his hind legs, it quickly gathers the attention of the woman in purple robes. She intently watches, and those who have been learned in the more subtle language of the body, can tell that she is prepared to make a quick move. To all others, she appears to just be standing there watching the encounter.

When no aggressive movement is taken by the beast man, the painted woman in purple robes sets her focus to a kettle warming near the fire. She finds a small tray made of wood, it's carving details would lead one to believe it was delicately made by someone of the highest skill. She carries the tray to the small table and places a few ceramic containers upon it.

Her duties are then interrupted by the knock at the door.

As Abaddon greets the newcomer at the door, upon recognizing him, she stands slightly behind and to the left of Abaddon. She remains silent as they speak and more words are exchanged between the guests.

Ignoring everyone else, Paer'An' pulls his cloak tighter around himself. He's not surprised by Kami's presence behind Abaddon, for if his memory serves him right, the two were ever rarely seen apart.

"Ashearth, gather up your ward and report to the Castle. I've been more than patient waiting for the two of you to conclude your business here, and until the Queen lifts your restrictions I would abide by them."

Shifting his focus to Abaddon

"Until we meet again"

He nods his head to Abaddon, not in deference anymore but as if acknowledging an equal. Long has it been since he looked to this one as a mentor, but he was still due a measure of respect. To Kami he only offers a sad smile before he turns and heads back towards the castle

"Certainly. The wilds are cold and dangerous, and I know from experiance you could not have a better guard than Paer'an. I hope to see more of you soon. all of you. " Abaddon says with a smile.

as Mary moves to leave Rothek turns his head toward her and watches her walk toward the door. the creature cocked his head to one side as if trying to contemplate something. when ashearth and his apprentice had just stepped to the threshold of the small cabin, rothek followed on all fours to the snowy weather outside.

rothek walked on all fours close to Mary's side and would stop when she did, the beastman also took time to carefully inspect the other two that traveled with them randomly sniffing near them as they walked.

As the others begin to leave, Brey drops a small letter onto Abaddon's stack of papers. He had been writing it while the others were deep in conversation. Making sure Abaddon saw what he had left, while he was leaving it, Brey turns to Abaddon with a small grin, and tired eyes.

"It is good to have you back among us Abaddon. I'm sure we will be seeing much more of each other in the days to come."

With that Brey made his way out of the cabin, and began his long walk back to Haven.
