I was not sure if we might want to enter. I think we might need some better pictures though.[/url]NERO International is proud to announce a partnership with a television production company based in Hollywood, California to hold the first annual LARP Awards (LARPIES), to be held in Los Angeles, in April 2006.

From http://www.larpies.com/larp_awards_categories.htmhese are the 2005 LARPIE categories for which submissions are being accepted:
Best Solo Action Sequence
Best Group Action Sequence
Best Costume
Best Makeup
Best Creature and/or Monster
Best Prop
Best Weapon
Best Set Design
Favorite Band
Funniest LARP Scenario / Sequence
Best-Looking LARP Male
Best-Looking LARP Female
That very well could be but being a part of it can't really hurt. People that aren't going to try LARP anyway aren't going to be convinced to by a story celebrating it but the people who may try it or are looking for a LARP to replace their old one just might give FH a shot if they see it on a LARP award show, especially if something is won.

Well you can't really control what some guy in a studio decides to do with footage that you submit to a contest. Or if someone decided to come tape part of an event as long as they got the parks permission to do it. All I;m really getting at is that exposure is exposure. The short can be as serious as can be, whether other non LARPers look at it that way is another story altogether.
