The spell is easily fixed. It should mandate that the person *must* spend the next 5 seconds getting up which was the intention. It was not for people to fight on their back, which you shouldn't do even if it is an option as you put yourself and others in a bad position. Eat the 5 seconds of standin...

Except a good PC could use an obviously under sized shield and still best all of the GMs. Probably, multiple of the GMs at the same time. Nothing against them. :) Also, on NPCs playing puds. A single NPC a a single pud is cannon fodder anyway. A warrior doesn't even need a shield to counter them. De...

Doug, the spell is Arctic Blast, which requires a 5 count to get up. You are correct thatpPress to the ground is not legal. And yes, you can attack from the ground but you must perform the 5 count to get up. Though if you are on the ground you are toast by staying there. It'd be super cheese to lay ...

Disenchant is slightly different than Banish in that respect. The Banish being packet isn't an issue since it's really only a pc vs npc skill, and has been primarily used that way since day 1. Disenchant is designed to force the person to get close so as to make it harder to remove enchantments whic...

you'd make the shield longer by reducing the size on the lower half of the shield (rear leg is protected by distance). Possibly, assuming you had some spare, you could expand the upper oprtion as well to protect the shoulders. Even could make a notch in the upper middle as the head isn't legal. Anot...

IF YOU PRESS ME DOWN I'M GONNA HIT YOUR LEGS AND THERE ISN'T A DAMN THING YOU CAN DO so don't get upset if i hit your legs when I'm pressed down. How does one press you down without touching you? Is there some spell I'm unaware of that does this and still lets you attack? I only know of one spell t...

(ignoring the entireity of this whole topic for the most part... may post eventually.) Just some notes for the previous couple posts. Shield size actually has somewhat of an inverse bearing on safety when held within reasonable sizes. Bigger shield = safer for all. Why? Well, let me explain! We'll b...

Can you back away from an opponent when taunted? if it would be strategically wise, then yes. Can't run and can't move out of sight but you can use cover and range to dodge packets adn avoid being swarmed if it would be something the critter would do. An elite guard elf is probably smart enough to ...

It should be the weapon, not the arm since I can move the tip of the weapon an inch and move my arm 45 degrees. All said and done, you still need to clearly call damage which is at max 2-3 calls a second. And taunt has always been a nigh worthless skill since the removal of the melee attack portion ...

Sorry I missed this one, but my weekend was already booked and I thoroughly enjoyed myself anyway! However, I don't agree with every NPC being able to wear armor, use a shield, throw magic fear, '2 magic lash', and have upwards of thirty soak. It was probably 22 soak to be exact, since I know that P...

I have been reading the posts and I am now confused as more imput flows in. For my clarification is it legal to use the skill utilize posion in conjunction with both the rogue ability critical strike, AND the touch of death assassin skill. [Ex: 9 vorpal poison] This is a common skill rogues often u...
