Questions about fists/claws
I was wondering something about claws/fists, that's never really been cleared up- or at least I never heard it clarified. What happens when a character is hit in the fists/claws with a "Shatter" call? Is there no effect? Does it go straight to armor? I have always assumed the former, thoug...

Re: April 2014 event Feedback
Well..... part of the rogue problem was our fault. Outside of the Inn (it was a random attack about 4am on Sat- the attack on the tavern was just after that because they left us to go there.) We were definitely outnumbered, as they had already pretty much sacked everyone inside, and I know I for one...

Re: GM/STAFF feedback
Yes, I would love to hear from the staff in a way that is more than telling us to simply "be more proactive", as is sometimes the knee-kerk reaction. We really like to hear what things went well for the Staff, because then we as players can reinforce such behavior.

Re: April 2014 event Feedback
I am firmly with everyone with what has been deemed the good and the bad. All the "good things" were great and need to continue. I have a couple of gripes, though, which are things that turned aut fine in the end but were frustrating while they happened. All the combat was top-notch and en...

Re: From the King
Marcus bid the messenger farewell and good-day as she left the doorstep of the young couple's house, and turned from the porch he had been relaxing upon, business on his mind. The messenger from the Crown looked back at him. If there was even a doubt to his tales of a Guthrie father, they were defin...

Re:
@Marcus: I thought for sure you had its second level skill wrong, but no it really is that, 5 seconds to add magic to a single throw. I think that really needs to be changed and brought in line with enchant weapon. Oh, believe me I know about it. For all the things I can throw, that skill only lets...

Re:
My packets as Garritt are usually portrayed by me as "sharp shards of metal, about the size of a coin". I would way if anything making lesser Firestorm "1 Magic" would be fine. It's a long casting time, with a penalty for stopping, but then again a similar attack is the second le...

Re: repel
Believe me, Brian it's a real downside of packets. My other character Garritt is the epitome of a packet wielding character, and I have sometimes had to throw packets (at what I would judge) illegally hard to get even so-so results. The enemy of the packet effect is the "guided NPC missile"...

Re: Updates and changes for 2014
Allow me to retort with this... There should be no multipliers. There should be no coin at game on. Get rid of it. It's a logistics pain and it inflates the value of in game coin. With the current changes the need for coin on a character basis is unnecessary. Its not just x3 and x4. Currently this ...

Re: repel
I had a very long string of horrible encounters at WinterHaven where nearly everything I hit with Magic Root just kept on barreling right at me, even in situations where there was no way they didn't hear the call. Though that is more due to NPC nature than the skill, as the skill is great at tying u...

Re: Advanced warrior swap out skills
As I said- I know Rhul is a bad-ass in combat without a single swap-out skill. Literally the only think I could do to make him better would be to use a shield. The main benefit of the warrior path is that synergizes extremely well (and easily) with nearly every discipline. Add exotic items into the ...

Re: Advanced warrior swap out skills
As i understand it, essentially yes. Re-loading a skill closely follows the mechanics of a Charge-up skill. You must remain immobile for a set Duration, resting for the stated reload duration, and this must be done separately for each skill that must be re-loaded. If you perform any other action or ...

Re: repel
Well, I know I've *heard* that Banish used to be that if it didn't kill the creature outright, it effectively did a "5 vorpal" to it. Can't confirm for sure. Packet only would be a bummer, at least for me :), because I roleplay both undead hunter skills as melee bases for Marcus (its to po...
