Wayne's idea sounds great to me - certainly adds a factor to healer tactics. might be a little too powerful, though. IMHO, utilizing a healer should always be the preferred method of getting your health back. Promotes group dynamics.

Regeneration provides yet another tactical aspect for healers to consider when dealing with the wounded. Should I heal the guy who can regenerate and get him up to full quicker, or should I heal these other people? Will the regenerator be up to full by the time I’m done with the others? Who would be...

Thanks everyone - the improvement is very noticeable. The first month it was on TWC, I think I got around 40 votes and I never got positioned above third page. The second month was around 60-70 votes, and I held on to the second page for most of the month, but slipped back to the third page by the e...

Dead on! :D It's based on the adventures of an on-line RPG that I GM. One day someone created a thread on the idea of putting our adventures in comic form. Eventually lead to this web comic. There's a link to the board from the comic.

I agree with the posts above that scouts should travel (and risk encounters) to get their hints.

Heh heh. As Don Mayo was purposefully leading a squad of Elves through Haven seeking out survivors to kill, I had to tap Soco and say 'Don't you feel like Darth Vader?' 8)

You’ll always write better than you can act, for in writing you generally have all the time you need to think about the correct way to portray your characters actions and phrase his dialog correctly. IF you like to write, that is. If not, well, you may actually put more thought into your acting than...

I played a 4th-level monk until recently, and it was freakin' awesome! I felt downright immortal pretty much the whole time. Can't tell you how many times I was downed with massive damage, and the healers, busy trying to save the lives of others, would just say "Oh! It's Slisk! Don't worry abou...

You can use the Sage Research ability to come up with new spells. That's the proper way to handle spell ideas - submit them to NPC camp as your inbetween event research and await their reply on what you have learned.

That's what I'm talking about - character focus determines what I enjoy most. Basically I'm going to enjoy what I'm good at - it's human nature. Slisk was good at fighting, but was dumb and anti-social. So I enjoyed combat but not so much puzzles or RP. Dallid was all about relations and tackling pr...
