Re: October 2014 Feedback
So, for those who don't know I drove from Wisconsin just for this event...and it was worth it. I personally had a really good time, as usually the GMs and NPCs were on point, I really enjoyed the stomach quest my group went on as well as the death carnival plot, any complaints aren't a big enough de...

Re: Stories of Snowbringer
The Name; “Mahto” Part 3 The Puihi village was silent, but Chieftain Groundbreaker was out in the forests with his two most trusted protectors. One was Tedar Sunnyday a huge ga’vin with a hammer to match, he was the leader of what fighting force the Puihi had, and an advocate of Snowbringer’s fighti...

Re: An Afternoon Ale
The inn grows deathly quiet when Xil finishes his question. Mahto looks up at him with pained eyes. In a mutter he answers as best he can... "Commodore Zandron has passed...the details of which would be better to discuss...in private." Now-Commodore Snowbringer rises from his chair, he mot...

Re: Hold Ground duration
I was under the impression it ended when you went down, or when you choose to stop. I'm not sure though.

Re: Stories of Snowbringer
The Name; “Mahto” Part 2 The aged hunter ran back into the village, sure of Snowbringer’s failure against the bear goddess. He stopped his way up to a circular area where the tribe’s shamans, elders, and influential people sat. Slumping in his seat in the council he took a moment to regain his breat...

Re: Arks thread of tough love and abuse #11 weapon/shield si
Ark, your argument that Kaylan has a bigger shield because he's a bigger dude then you, so you should get a longer weapon is silly. The reason bigger dudes (including me to an extent) have bigger shields then you is that they have more to cover, giving us a smaller shield would now put US at the dis...

Re: Arks thread of tough love and abuse #11 weapon/shield si
I don't think weapon and shield size rulings have any reason to change. Shields are fit to the person for fair game play reasons, as Kaylan said, and I feel like weapon sizes don't have anything really wrong with them, and seem pretty realistic, I would have to look over it again before I made a sol...

Re: Arks thread of tough love and abuse #10 political/guilds
While I like the idea of having groups/guilds that are ingrained in the world, that players don't run, I don't think anything has to change in the system we have. The reason groups form are not JUST about incentives, they're about OOG and IG friendships, character types and styles, and RP decisions....

Re: Stories of Snowbringer
The Name “Mahto” Part One “Is this where the bear’s glade is?” Snowbringer inquired to the older ga’vin. They looked upon a wall of large trees, with only one apparent entrance. “Aye, when we send our hunters through the opening the goddess gets the upper hand. Her fortress is practically impregnab...

Re: An Afternoon Ale
Mahto stares at Gondowon as the later stumbles over a topic to choose. His eyes seem shallower in his ashen face then they usually were, no doubt tired from the responsibilities he now had to deal with. His eyes glimmer for a moment when Gondowon mentions his tribe's lessons. His heart swells with p...

Stories of Snowbringer
Mahto's Love Acting Commodore Mahto Snowbringer stood on a hill near Dar’dakous. The small tribal village had grown in the past two years. An effective wooden spike wall surrounded the village which nestled itself in a group of hills. Two large flags stood on each side of the gate, the flag of Have...

Re: Sometime during the second year...
Mahto looks calmly at his "Captain" even he hadn't gotten out of the habit. The relationship between the two had changed vastly in the last two years. Zandron had been there for him when he was a kid, when no one else was. Now, it seemed Mahto had to be there to take care of him. He peers ...

Re: Pirate hunting
Mahto curled his lip in a smirk. The old elf was getting slower, even Mahto could tell... Mahto took one step forward, then broke into an astoundingly fast sprint! He roared like a bear and the rest of Halstead's crew engaged the pirates. He drew his shield back and smashed the point into the neares...

Re: Pirate hunting
Mahto's fur cape whipped behind him in the ocean wind. Earlier in the year, before they had left the Isles he had been dressed in a more traditionally "pirate" uniform. But, since the cold air had began to blow he donned the attire of his people. His leather and cape warmed him and his sca...
