Re: questions from rules
Attunement - You may only attune one item at a time ( Unless you have something else that says otherwise) - As for Unattuning, that takes 30 minutes as well and may only be done one at a time also. As for Read/write - I would say for most of your questions that would be a character by character choi...

Re: acceptance speech
In the majority I do agree with you Ark. One of the things that drew me to FH in the beginning was the survival aspect of the system. Coin was a necessary evolution of evil.. (hehe).

Re: acceptance speech
Just for note Ark, not everyone is happy about the removal of upkeep. I am sure the majority do like the idea, but it is not a universal agreement.
So you may want to double check what the award says.

Re: questions from rules
I will answer the best I can here - To Angie about Arcanist - Since everyone can now utilize magic spells there will not likely be an Arcanist Discipline as everyone can already dabble in magic. Magus is there to allow a character to focus largely on casting spells and using magic, just like other P...

Re: Off season wish list
The Tabard system at WH was originally supposed to be Step 1 of improving PC experience by differentiating one NPC from another. The initial test run of the Tabards showed that the idea worked, as many PC's were able to quickly identify "types" of creatures by their Tabards. By no means wa...

Re: Mimicking Sage Skills
Personally I would think you cannot mimic a skill you already possess, and would like to clear up the skill to say so. Final Haven Rulebook pg. 29 wrote: With this skill the Sage may mimic any first level Discipline or Basic Path skill except for Arcanist, Diplomat, Wizard Path skills or anything fr...

Re: Bleeding out and Transfusion
I do not have a simple answer for you at this time. Currently it does not stop Bleed Out, the question is should it? There are a couple ways to extend Bleed out, and stop it momentarily Tourniquet, Extend Life, First Aid, Surgery. At the moment it comes down to a Triage decision. Depending on how ba...

Re: Updates and changes for 2014
One additional change to the rules - merely an add-on or new use for the Abundance/Plague spell to keep it more in-line and useful for the new FH Economic set-up This wording will take the place of the wording of the Abundance/Plague spell in the current rulebook. - The added part is underlined belo...

Re: cure potions while in the negatives
Pg.84 - Main Rule Book Death and Dying Unfortunately, a character only has so much life to work with. When a character's Life Points reach 0 (zero) and below, they become incapacitated; they can talk but cannot move, use any skills (including Passive skills), or perform any actions. A character at e...

Re: Arks thread of tough love and abuse #9 control skills
I will only add this - I believe the Charm prefix was added to lump many of these skills into one type, so there could be one resist for them - rather than just call Pacify, Calm, etc.. and possibly need a Resist for each and every one.

Re: Kiel's thread of reasonable questions and logic #2 Actio
As Cookie said we had discussed some re-wording of that skill in the past, but for the life of me I cannot find where (or if) I poste an ideas. As far as defining actions, I would very much like to do that. In most cases it refers to using any non-passive skills I believe, but I would have to go thr...

Re: Kiel's thread of reasonable questions and logic #1 Movin
I agree the rules need to be clearer on this. The intention as far as I have seen played is that any skill that you must remain still for (unless otherwise specified) means that you may not move your feet, but may bend at the knees and otherwise dodge as long as your feet do not move at all. The Cha...
