OK, looking at the rule book, the 'Quality' question is cleared up by the statement that Quality adds to one of the 3 locations (Arms, Legs, Body). Helms are NOT included. Still have to double check the 'Armor' question with the other GMS, but I believe my answer is correct. Helms no longer contribu...

Ok, I will have to double check this information because I am going from memory, but.. ~Yes, material constuction is disreguarded as its the 'coverage' of the helmet that is important for sake of reward. ~I do not believe that the Helms were intended to be 'Quality' just as in the previous rules. (T...

Crush damage travels through weapons and is therefore is not 'parriable' as per the common concept of Parry (using a weapon to block/deflect an incoming blow). Parry is just part of the name of the skill, however. At this point, it's just a dodge or some other avoidance of damage (thus the full nam...

Parry was always intended to be a 'weapon at the ready' skill. Why would you need a weapon to parry crush? Um.. because your getting hit and use the weapon to 'parry' the blow and not take damage? I have to admit Im a bit confused at your question because it seems very self explanitory. This isnt r...

The destruction of Pompeii in 79AD is the most viewed video at YouTube. The first comment is..."OMG so cool! Volcanos ROCK!" Attila the Hun has his own MySpace page. Nobody ever rejects his "invite a friend" emails. The soothsayer's "Ides of March" email fails to get Ca...

We are presently working on the exact wording (cause the first version was mostly just in my head) for 'Unlearning' your lifestyle. As its possible to have up around 9 discpline levels, it will most likely NOT be one per event as normal (because it would take almost 3 years, and it would be quicker ...

We need to make sure that everyone is on the same page on exactly 'How' it is done. The idea of a 'Lifestyle' change is that you would 'unlearn' ALL of your discipline skills (requiring time and lack of use) so that you can 'learn' new skills in a new discipline/lifestyle. Now.. the reason that that...

That is incorrect. Parry/Avoid does not require a weapon in hand to use the skill. There is not where the skill that states that requirement. Will this be a late addition to the rules?? Parry was always intended to be a 'weapon at the ready' skill, but you are correct. It doesnt actually state that...

I also think fundamental changes in the way skills work, like allowing to double up charge up skills, should be playtested and thoroughly gone over with a fine tooth comb before being introduced into gameplay. Part of the philosophy of charge up skills has always been that they can be a little nast...
