Dallid works feverishly, trying to mend the many wounds of the dying woman. Many times, he wipes the sweat off his brow and he tears cloth to use as extra bandages. With great efficience and concentration, the woman's bleeding is controlled, a little color returns to her pale cheeks. (for those meta...

When Azara and Dallid approach, laying their hands and weapons on the vines, the woman's head snaps up, her eyes pop open, and she lets out another groan. With blood spurting from her mouth, she says, "Help me...Please..." Within moments she is cut free and she falls limply into your arms ...

The girl

As light floods the room, a horrific picture is revealed. Mounted to the far wall by thorny vines, her feet dangling limp in the air, a woman you all recognize lies. Through the flowing blood on her scalp that paints the majority of her face red, it is clear that this is the woman who was searching ...

Ovak nods his head and grins with approval.

"He was getting a bit annoying I must say, talking and all. Sure Atrum, use my room, and I will bring Leelam back in a hurry."

Ovak leaves the inn.

It is a brilliant if not harrowing fight. The beetles, like crazed bees going after honey, spring to action. They are limber, they are agile, they are ferocious...but ultimately no match for the motley group before them. Despite being attacked by two sides and their strange and surprising leaping ab...

Just a quick amendment to my earlier post--while I will not kill your character I will do something creatively evil to him/her should you do something I consider stupid (and lets face it, it would have to be pretty dumb for me to recognize it as such)

I was envisioning something similar to what Eric said. I would think of online combat as being there for a reason. For example, do not think of the giant beetles as just some random thing to fight. Instead, think that they are there because they have to be there--it may help with the overall underst...

After a short jaunt, the path splits again. Down to the left the path appears to widen and may even open up into a chamber of some kind, but it is difficult to tell with the limited lighting. The moaning however is distinctly coming from the right.

Shortly after the path widens it comes to a T, the woman's voice clearly coming from the right

In the hole

Clearing the tunnel is hard, tedious work. Hanging from a rope and digging out the cavern puts trmendous strain on the muscles, but eventually a ledge is formed and the work becomes easier. Over the top of the mound of dirt, almost ten feet away, when the light is shone forth, the passageway clearly...

I think that there are legitimate concerns about a lot of the rules that have been discussed here, but I have to say if anything is not broken it's the charcter point structure. As we have it now, characters advance quickly just like we want it. I think it is the natrural tendency for players to wan...

Every plot I was on I had a pocketful of hero point tags to give out, just waiting to see some semblance of a reason to give one out, but I just kept thinking that the npc's I play were most deserving of them so I kept them...was this wrong? Yet another post with nothing constructive to sa...

Hmmm, the power...thoughtful moment....I thought this would be an easy call, but I have to wonder, Nelkie, what the hell does it matter to you? A couple extra allegiance points? How can he use an extra allegiance point to create an evil druid seeking missile that will completely ruin the plot...Oh s...

(The jut in the wall appears indeed to be some sort of tunnle, or at least it used to be. The dirt is more loosely packed here, but most of the passage has been caved in and will take some work to open it up.)

Arthos, spending several moments at the bottome of the hole, gets a confused look on his face and scratches his head. Something is wrong, something out of place or inconsistent with the rest. And then he sees it. About a third of the way back up the hole from the bottom, there is a slight jut inward...
