Re: August event feedback
I started last week not really as excited about the event as I have been in the past. I almost rode with Phil which would have meant I'd have to leave early. I'm so glad I didn't! I had a great event. I enjoyed all of the plots that I was involved in. My only regret was all of the walking and that's...

Re: Arks thread of tough love and abuse #11 weapon/shield si
The real argument against standard shield sizes should not be that a smaller shield would give a larger person a disadvantage. The real issue is if a smaller person has a larger shield. It's not because it gives them a huge advantage, which it would, but it's not safe. A person using shield that is ...

Re: Arks thread of tough love and abuse #10 political/guilds
I would be against using perks or character points to join a guild (and realize your not really suggesting such) because perks obviously have a level tied to them and character points for a similar reason, there should really be no downside or loss to your character for joining a guild. I am in fac...

Re: Arks thread of tough love and abuse #10 political/guilds
I am not apposed to some sort of in game guild system, as long as it is simple and the rewards make sense. The problem with the old guild system was guilds had to be rearranged all the time depending on who showed up. At WH we have been kicking around the idea of adding a special perk that would sig...

Re: June 2014 event feedback
I want to start out by saying I had a great time. There were some very pretty awesome scenes that I got to be part of, one of which was even set up for me. I tell you what, walking into an ambush that you know is an ambush is one thing but seeing a man hanging from a tree with your named carved into...

Re: Soup Suggestions
I also liked the mushroom soup and the chicken one was good too. I can't remember which of the others I tried but I know I didn't dislike any of them. I will definitely throw some money in for this!

Yeah, control monster is poorly worded. I know Phil was planning on rewording it but not sure how far that process has gone.

Re: Kiel's thread of reasonable questions and logic #1 Movin
Good question! I've always taken it as you can't leave the spot you're in, feet planted. I've never considered talking as moving. I would say that excessive dodging, bending at the waste or knees by 30 degrees or more, would count as moving. That's just my opinion though.

Re: Arks thread of tough love and abuse #8 parry
I brought this up a while back because of the knock out works, which I hate by the way. Knockout works differently than poison and disease and such. Numbered attacks that contain poison and disease deal damage. That damage must affect your life points in order for the poison or disease to work. Thus...

Re: Essence Mage Path
Reloads make everything more powerful because they allow you to do anything instantaneously. No need to change anything here to a reload. Reloads are powerful because they are instant use but in the case of most of the Essence Mage abilities that wouldn't be that bad. There are a couple I can see b...

Re: Essence Mage Path
Honestly I overheard someone say the reason the essence mages were able to do what they do is because they have the essence mage path and not just the discipline. I know that was more of an analogy than anything but it got me thinking. Why not an essence mage path? So I started thinking and here’s ...

So sorry, I was commenting on Travis' idea for Animate Dead, the current spell, not in relation to this list. My bad, yes yes, let's get back to the topic. Again, I'm sorry.

Re: Wizard Spell Suggestions
I disagree. Even a weak golem like a clay or flesh golem could crush hundreds of zombies or skeletons. In D&D this is true but there are plenty of settings where this isn't the case. It's also irrelevant since the stats of the creature are provided for you. First, letting a PC RP whatever they ...
