Re: 2015 End of Season Tag Turn INs
I can do that. They're nothing all that special, and I'll write down all the coin and etc, too. Thanks, Mike!

Re: 2015 End of Season Tag Turn INs
Is there a way to get a character's tags to the right place before the end of the year? I played Garritt at Sanctuary, and things got out of hand on my end with holidays, kids and surgeries. I emailed Taki and Phil, but have not gotten a response in a week or so. It's few enough tags that I should b...

Re: Resist stacking
As Brian said, back in the older rulebook if you had resist Fear three times, you could immediately throw fear after being hit with it. The was one of the keystones of my character Crowley, which unfortunately would not be legal with the latest rule change. I was able to do it a couple of times and ...

Re: April 2015 feedback
SPELL PACKETS - Since CJ didn't mention it, I will. IF IT'S NOT YOURS, DON'T TAKE IT! There is a no stealing rule in the book. Stealing applies to spell packets too. In battle, packets get jumbled and after a while you reuse what's convenient - fine. After the battle, don't leave the field with a p...

Re: April 2015 feedback
healers. . .transfusion is dumb, im sorry to say that in a rude way but really. requiring 3 separate skills to deal with negs is silly. it should be first aid, then surgery, and that's it! first aid like it is now so that people can grab someone in slight negs and help out, and surgery for everythi...

Re: Edited Rule Book
Also, for after the event, many of the skills in basic Healer that I am sure are swap-out skills (like Combat Reflexes, Martial Training and Invigorate) are not listed as such, just as normal skills, unless that was the intention.

Re: A concern
Mike, do you see alot of changed happening to disciplines? So far I never heard anything about that angle, and was wondering. I know the upkeep change will be necessitating changing all the disciplines that modify personal income by a percentage, or give bonuses to spending within the economic syste...

Re: acceptance speech
While removing upkeep eliminates a certain stress point from playing, remember also that several people will have to have their disciplines HUGELY changed by this new rule, as they only provide modifiers, not actual gold. Hard to % modify nothing. Also the fun and adventure of several people spendin...

I'm surprised we already haven't heard terrible poems written by Abaddon, not Travis.

Re: questions from rules
I assume it was on purpose, to put focus solely on Healers, but I always loved the roleplaying aspect that it added, and was also HUGE when you are the only healer in a scene, and can't take the time for Surgery/First Aid when you see a second person hit the ground, so have to get a volunteer to hol...

Re: Off season wish list
(Hey there I'm finally back into LARP mode!) I totally agree that tabards or something along those lines are a necessary evil. It DOES kind of break the "look" when I am in my full costume, as well as those around me, and then suddenly a brightly tabarded NPC walks up- it's a bit jarring. ...

Re: Questions about fists/claws
Well,to be truthful I think I might be the only player I can think of using full-sized 36" claws from the Beastman discipline, because even I had previously used 24" ones. But then I saw how swinging for a base of "2" is actually pretty common nowadays, and I have to Rage to even...

Re: Questions about fists/claws
Hah, I actually missed that part in the supplement. Though because the question stems from me gearing up to maybe play Rhul at this next WinterHaven, I actually think the supplement may have been updated since I played him last, which was actually nearly three years ago, lol. I think it was the &quo...
