Under craftsmen -

"In Final Haven, creating and maintaining items is done through the use of time and resources with normal items costing less than exotic ones. Whenever a craftsman is working on crafting he cannot be disrupted, and any count can be put on hold indefinitely, or resumed by another craftsman of equal level. If the count is forgotten or not recorded then the craftsman must begun again."

Under creating seige weapons -

"Master Craftsmen can also create siege weapons. Due to the necessary precision involved in their creation, Craftsmen must spend five uninterrupted hours in game creating them. Below are the siege weapons that can be created. There may be other siege weapons that can be created, but Craftsmen must research them with the Research skill. Siege Weapons may be destroyed by other siege weapons, or an uninterrupted attack for four minutes."

soo..

What I get out of that is that a craftsman can now get up and walk away from what they are making EXCEPT when making siege weapons as it states the 5 hours must not be interrupted.

That is correct, because of the "Percision" involved...

You are reading it correctly...mundane items, start, coffee/smoke/BACON CAKE break come back and pick up where you left off...

Siege weapon....tell them to keep you a piece of bacon cake cause if you let go of that spring it gonna launch poor timmys kitty outta the basket that he crawled into while you were winding it up, and couldnt stop until it was finished....

(c:

Or something similar....

And not just the part about the flying kitty.

Healing should be the same.

“Ooo, they’re serving lunch. Just hold that artery closed right… there. Don’t let go. Be back in five, ‘kay? ‘Kay.”

The important idea here is that the rules for siege weapons state a specific intention tha superceeds the normal rules. Unless we/GMs change that it takes priority off the status quo rules.
