I took their quiz to see what they'd named Andian. It came out Rhydderch the Butcher. I don't think that's quite right.

Haha, I nearly spit pink lemonade all over my monitor. Hole of Glory indeed...
Anyway, who cars what lame ass names they come up with, it's fun to just keep refreshing and seing knights cut to pieces and prisoners on the rack torn asunder. And the morality questions, those are good too, magical boxes and mystical crabs.

I don't know...my question for that one was different and one of the answers was that I was being somewhat 'orc curious'
I'm scared...
Also the fact that one of the choices for day job was clown/pedophile that scared me too...

IFC aired it last night.
It was a pretty honest representation of the hobby, I think. They showed some of the diversity you'll find in a LARP population, varying from the girl-shy gamer geek to the average joe who just likes to beat on things. Of course, I would have liked to see more done about high-end professionals who enjoy the hobby, but maybe none of them were willing to appear on camera.
Since Darkon appears to be a combat-centric LARP, I didn't see the sort of roleplaying we see at FH. I'll admit, I'd like to see a documentary on a more plot-based LARP.
Oh, and I absolutely love their Dark Elves. Very, very well done.

I've got it recorded.. I might watch it tonight if I can.
I have to wonder though if the "RP" might have been cut/edited out (or just not even filmed) because it wasn't in the film-maker's interest towards the theme of the movie? I mean, if you're a film-maker who's trying to capture the story of LARPers, do you want to stick a camera in a room where folks are just... talking? Also, some of the best scenes are private and take place spontaneously behind closed doors. So maybe the cameras just weren't there for those less-than-action-packed moments?
Hmm.. I really should watch it before commenting. Oops, too late.

Can someone record it? I'll repay you for the DVD\video cassette, shipping or gas to get it to me and a lil sumpin sumpin like maybe lunch or a movie. That's if it's not on tv.co.links later this week.
