Latex Foam Warhammer

Post by marduk »

Has anyone used a latex warhammer before?

Is it worth the investment?

If your interested ill make Olan (the owner) aware. If you dont see exactlywhat your interested in, he CAN get custom stuff done.

There are some decent cloth ones available. A pretty big one was made early on in Muskegon (the handle broke on it last year or the year before, so it hasn't been used since then.) I think its construction was pretty inexpensive by the looks of it.

Brian,

Thanks for the link. I am not going to spend $100 on a LARP weapon, though. Time for plan B. I am looking for a Great Maul. This is where you may be able to help. What would you quote me on a two handed Great Maul?

So are you saying you know the owner of Knighthawk Armoury?

Gimme a ring and we can discuss dimentions and design/trappings/accents.
My guess without knowing more about the weapon is $30 to $35.

Yes. Im not trying to imply he was at my wedding or we watch Steisand movies and eat popcorn or anything, but we are aquainted I guess you could say.

Brian,

I may actually be going another way other than a hammer. I was doing that because I may need a headed weapon for discipline reasons. Now that I am rethinking things character sheet-wise, I may not go to all that trouble and just use a sword or something. I'll let you know my final decision later

you do know that headed weapons(as the FH rules means to imply with that term) include hammers and maces yes? Just an FYI in case that affects your decision.
