Several posters with the below wording have been seen posted in several public places:

The Fall Masquerade Ball
October 7th
Feast 5:00pm
Ball 9:00pm

You as a valued member of Haven, have here by been invited to:

The Fall Masquerade Ball
In honor of Fall Harvest.

The Feast begins at approx 5pm
The Feast will be prepared by Sen, the world’s finest cook.

The Ball is scheduled to be held at 9pm
Pleasantries at the Ball will include Games and Dancing.

This is formal occasion.
Masks optional, formal dress and costumes preferred.

Silvanni and the local color are invited so be prepared for a lively time!

*Shea walks up to the poster.....reads it and turns a bright shade of pink. She turns, searching around the room for someone...when she is satisfied she turns and mutters to herself....*

I do not know how to dance...not as they dance at balls, that's for sure...Where is Lady Rosamund maybe she will teach me a few steps....

Who would I dance with ANYWAY?!

*She turns and begins to walk away, reaching into her skirt pocket she pulls out a small piece of warn leather and takes a quick look at it.*

If Connor were here we'd surely dance.

This sounds like a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our community. Perhaps we should invite the fishing villagers. Hmm, we could also invite our neighbors and trading partners the lizardmen before they retreat into their winter hibernation and the beastmen. I'm sure they would add to the lively atmosphere.
