Jim's 40th birthday party..belated.

Post by Dewy Stoutbringer »

To all,
As many of you know, the 13th was my 40th birthday. As it was a Carps weekend, I did not get a chance to go out with you all as I would have liked to. To remedy this, I will be celebrating this weekend @ Bells Brewery in Kalamazoo, Saturday 22nd of October.
I am inviting all who are willing and able to make it. The band begins @ 9pm. I plan on geting there about 8pm or so.

Happy Birthday Jim!!!

Are you sure it's your 40th? I've heard from many people in a similar situation that it's acutally the 11th anniversary of their 29th birthday.
One should rather die than be betrayed. There is no deceit in death. It delivers precisely what it has promised. Betrayal, though ... betrayal is the willful slaughter of hope.

This sounds like a lot of fun. Any other Muskegonite/Phoenix thinking about going? How about combining this with the meeting we were talking about having?

Craic Wisely...and too much fun.

Post by Dewy Stoutbringer »

My wife tells me that I did indeed have a good time. And I was recovered by 3pm Sunday for my nephews birthday party. (My family apparently has nothing better to do in late January/ February)
Thanks for the drinks, especially the 9% double bock that went down so well.
And for those who missed the event and did not hear the band, they are called Craic Wisely and do a great job. I'll try to remember to post their play dates for you all. NOthinf till December, cause John has a baby due any time and they cannot do without their Mandolin player.

Thanks to all,

Jim "Now you may call me old" Dewald
