*Ug begins casting to enchant Drake's weapon with Magic damage*

As you make your way through the clearing, you can see the remains of fallen stone walls and decayed lumber that must have once been houses. The air is still and there is no sound. No birds singing, no trees swaying, just the sounds of the party on its way to the tower. Mounds of earth marked with small stone cairns litter the base of the hill.

When you reach the top of the hill, the tower stands before you. A pair of large iron strapped double oak doors bar your entrance to the tower.

No noise. That isn't by any stretch of the immagination natural. It's as if all life avoids this place like, for lack of a better word right now, plague.

*Looks at the big iron door*

Oh that's going to be a challenge to get open. Mind if I check the door out for a moment luvs for I have this feeling and I want to see if at least from a craftsman's perspective I'm right.

Call it female intuition..paranoia...whatever you feel like calling it.

This place is cut off from our reality, my connection with my beloved wolves and forest is waning and disappearing all together. lets make this search quickly and leave.

*Arthos approachs the large dooor and studies it (since magic, detect traps (magical also), spot)*

*Looks at the group after examining the doors*

These doors were a town defense of sorts. Basically this place luvs depended on the strength of these doors the keep the nasty folk at bay. It was the towns main point of defense.

Really well crafted actually…

*Looks at Arthos*

I agree with Arthos, let’s move quickly and get out of here. I’m not enjoying all this quiet.

*After she is done looking at the door, Kidwynn moves back to the back fo the group with Kels.*

How is this Kels, I'm trying to be. I feel sort of how Arthos luv feels about this place. It is far to quiet for my taste.

Arthos and Kidwyn study the doors and find no traps or triggers (Magical or otherwise). The doors are unlocked. When Dallid Pushes on the door, it opens heavy, as if something is blocking its path. With a little work and some help from others in the party, you manage to get the door open.

Inside, the floor is littered with stones, heavy beams, and wooden planks. It appears as if the tower had three levels. Each with a wooden floor. The remains of a spiral staircase running around the outside of the tower begin on the far wall. Looking up you will see that the tower is completely open to the sky.

Inside the tower, the queer feeling of not belonging here is even more intense.

*Kidwynn once inside looks unsettled. She can't fake it anymore. She turns to Kels and speaks softly to him.*

Kels, the bad feeling is even worse now then it was outside. There is something wrong here. No noise from the air, no animals, not even a russling tree.

Something didn't want us to get here and perhaps it was trying to protects us from something.

Everything is telling me this isn't right.....
