preregistration now available

Post by GM-Mike »

As promised, preregistration is now available. The preregistration price is based off of the attendance of our first event, as I outlined in a previous email. Clicking on events above will get you to the area where you can preregister for any event this year for $22.50 each. You can pay either with a paypal account or by a credit card. Alternatively, you can mail in your pregistration (include money and indicate which event you are pregistering for) to:

Final Haven
506 E 6th
Clare, MI 48617

As always, the price at the door will remain at $25. In order to be counted as preregistered, we need to receive payment by the event.

When would the pre-reg money need to be in by...let's say like for the July FH event?

Is this for FH only? Basically is there a way we can pre-reg for WH?

I know, enought with the questions already Julie... :D

I would preregister no later than the Monday before to assure processing. You cannot at this time preregister for WH through this process. Since they handle their own finances, they would have to set up their own account in order to do this.

Winter Haven sort of has a pre-registration, but goes about it with a Season Pass which comes with a free rulebook and (I think) and at $80 for 4 games, that's $20/event.

However, if I remember correctly, the Final Haven option allows for a much cheaper price if the attendance grows.

I don't believe I've heard any thoughts from the WH side about doing an online store/purchase. I could be wrong though.

Art is correct in that preregistration prices are based upon attendance--larger growth will equate to lower prices in the future. In order to do this and maintain predictability, the prices will be based upon the attendance at the first event of each year (thus this year's event prices are set and will not change). We are committed to running an affordable and convenient game (thus the allowing of credit cards--preregistration only), but obviously we are not interested in losing an overwhelming amount of money either; thus prices are based off attendance.

Just a reminder that it is not quite too late to preregister. In fact, given the speed of transactions to be processed, I am willing to extend the deadline until Wednesday for anyone who would like to take advantage of a slightly lower price.

Thanks,

Mike

Not many people take advantage of preregistration, so I thought I would remind people that this option is available. You can preregister up until midnight before the event and save a little money in the process.
