Waypoint LARP will be a game being run on the west side of the state in Rothbury on federal land. It will be a very rustic experience due to there being no actual buildings. However there will be camp toilets made available. The good thing is the area is very secluded and because we don't have to pay for the land the game is free to play!
The game takes place in an area called The Waypoint. Whenever you pass through a portal or gate you pass through this place. It is the central location for all worlds. This is a very recent occurance that has happened within the last few months.
The Waypoint has not been thoroughly explored yet but there appears to be no sign of natives. People who have been passing through have begun to set up embassies to represent their worlds interests and merchants have begun to set up shop as well realizing the great opportunity for trade between the various worlds.
Of course with no established rulling party and tons of in-fighting between merchants and diplomats the Waypoint has become a mercenaries dream. There is tons of work to be found. Negotiators are in high demand as well when a deal needs to be struck between folks they tend to send third parties in case it turns out to be an ambush or trap.
The Waypoint has also become a great place to lay low. With no central government or laws yet you can make yourself a new identity. However bounty hunters know this and as such they have been able to find a good amount of their prey here.
Adventurers and those seeking their fortune have also seen a great many opportunities here. The Waypoint has not even been fully explored yet. Only a one mile area has been throughly searched. Think of all the treasure and power that could be availible!
The there is the 'why?' factor. Why did this Waypoint even come to be? Has it always been here or did someone or something create it? How come all of a sudden we are brought here?

First events will be taking place on May 12th and July 20th. These will most likely be one day events. There may also be a fall event if things go well and there is a demand for it.
