Lore request / question: The Bloodmoon

Post by Ark »

hey everyone I was curious about this particular event and wondering if I could get player input on what exactly this event is?

as far as I personally know it happens once a year (around the end of irl October :P) and is a time when the veil, the barrier between the world of the living (has no name as far as I know) and the dead (the Ether) is thin. this results in many strange phenomenon happening (necromancy becomes easy around this time because of this)

is this little bit correct and is there any more information or known on the subject? would really love further player feedback on this.

Are you asking for real world lore or IN GAME information?

(sorry if this is the wrong section but its an in game lore thing and we don't really have an out of character lore section?

The blood moon/hunters moon comes from American Indian usage due to being able to hunt even late into the evening on those nights. I would say any thinking of the veil is dependent on the spiritual views of the individual.
How it affects things IN GAME would be information a PC should gather in game, aside from any general lore that may exist(which I do not think there is).
