Winter one Day

Post by GM-Mike »

We're a little over a week away from our first event of the year! This is our annual one day event with board games both before and after for those of you who are interested in that or if you just want to come and hang out with a few friendly faces (as well as my face). We have the Indian Village and one of the Long Houses at our disposal.

Friday night, you may arrive anytime after 5 o'clock. Bring food, games, and good will.

Saturday, game on will be at about 10 in the morning with a game off at around 9 at night. You are welcome to stay the night for more good games and better company.

This is typically a potluck so bring some food to share if you are able. If you cannot afford to do so, come out anyway, there's always plenty to go around.

Cost of the event is $20.

Like last year's one day, we're working hard at laying the foundation for the rest of the year so if you want a peak at what's ahead, be sure and come out and join us.

I will be bringing cooperative games, which includes my Ten Minute game collection (Space Alert and Escape: Curse of the Temple), as well as possibly Galaxy Trucker.

Good Times will be had!

I can make whatever is needed.

I'm thinking cheesy potatoes (because apparently I can't make enough of those) and sweet and sour meatballs. Or should I just do two crockpots of potatoes... Gentlemen, any thoughts??

Games are CJ's department. Although I'd really like to finally play Dicecapades that Brad got us for a wedding gift.

Nick and I plan on coming up Friday night with Halo Risk, Chess, Quelf, and possibly a horde of Pansys. We'll be bringing plates, napkins, and moar meatballs.
You are what you dare.

That's correct. No offense, but I wish you did have a girlish figure. It would make our...um...arrangement a little easier to take.

Discovered the actual date of the event at 11PM the night before, myself. Did a quick inventory to see if I could make it, but had not yet aquired elf ears (though I have two left ears of different size).

Well crumbs, too bad you didnt come just to be social, I have an unopened pack of ears in my make up kit almost all the time, just in case someone loses one.
Besides I think haveing Brad and YOU play cards against humanity would have been epic!
