shatter

We need to change shatter to a non numeric surge call.

keep it the same. If it hits your weapon, kaboom.

if it hits your armer > light kaboom.


it's such a rare call, that it's messily complex.

It's been discussed in te past, but i don't want it to get forgotten this offseason.

Would the shatter armor be by location hit or does the entire set of armor go away?

I have to agree that shatter should be all or nothing, but I think it should be everything. I hit a weapon with shatter it blows up (no matter what it is made of), same with shiled shield, and if you hit a person wearing armor, their armor is destroyed.

It is simple and straight foward. One sould fear shatter, but makes monks and brawlers cool.

That's what I was thinkiing too. locations are just too complex.

it's just such a rare call it shouldn't be confusing TOO.

There is a shatter spell. This will need to be altered since the power of shatter would increase.

I agree though that this should be changed. In fact, in my testing of the new spell formula, I've already made this change. :)
