New Race suggestion

Post by marduk »

In light of the monster talk, I would like to suggest a new race.

Name needs work:

Ghoul

Although not a real member of the "undead", the race resembles undead humans. they also engage in the act of carrion eating, particulalry eating of sentitents. Their personalities are flat of affect and they tend to avoid well lit places. Although they are not adversely affected by sunlight, but they are avoidant of it. Ghouls operate in family units and have no politcal assembly to date.

Boon: Immunity to Disease

Costume: Ghouls need to have pale skin and dark circles under eyes. This will be simulated by using face paint. Fangs are optional.

New Race

Jhei Ehm

Life points > until you decide to fall
Size > variable
Description > The Jhei Ehms are a highly versitile race well adapted at exploiting the weaknesses of their opponents. They are much fiercer in battle than all the other races, and have the destinct ability not only to disease, but to use many abilities in large areas of effect, without charge times. However, the Jhei Ehms have an uncanny knack for being impossible to find, especcially between 3 and 8 AM, and during game break.
Racial Boon > The Jhei Ehm can respawn a pre-set number of times during a battle, without the need of a resurrection.
Costuming > The Jhei Ehm is required to carry red and white striped weapons, thought they aren't always claws.

I feel like I miss out on a lot of this game b/c I don't watch Stargate. That should be mentioned as a prereq in the preamble of the rulebook.

I was until the last season when they went from science fiction to just making an anti religeous message

I like battle star galactica. That has religeous elements, but they do it very well and in a science fiction way.

***Not intended to be a flame, merely an expresion of belief***

SG draws strongly upon many mythos that were the sole religion for thousands, if not millions, of people. The Norse and Egyptian 'mythologies' are religions
