Flee

Post by General Maximus »

Can flee be used a counter, like a resist magic, etc... Aka i get hit int he back for a 30 magic, can I call flee, run away, and not take the damage?

No. Flee must be used pre-emptively.

This is seriously splitting hairs here, but what if you used Flee after someone threw the spell but it hadn't hit you yet...it was in mid-air? :)

Then according to the rule on page 33 1/3 your character would burst into flames and die.

Look people can try and skirt the rules and claim they were on the line, but when you see a player always on the line it starts to get annoying. Basically we will give characters the bennifit of the doubt, but not always, and if nessissary we will consider the player a cheat and simply remove them from the game permenanetly.

After some research, I accede that according to the rules 33 1/3 as per Mr. Wayne, I would burst into flames. But since I am Fleeing, I am immune to the damage and would NOT actually die, correct? Or does the rule on page 33 1/3 supersede the flee ability? What is the counter for that ability? I suggest, as a counter to this rule, to be fair, we implement the new "Stop, Drop and Roll" ability, whereupon if you DO burst into flames, you can extinguish them quickly, still giving you a chance of successfully fleeing.

Chris: That is what the beat bag is for. I'll lend you ours if you need one. :)
