2007 Double Skills

Post by GM-Mike »

Taking skills that appear in more than one discipline will now give you a bonus if you take them twice. The different skills and bonuses are detailed below in alphabetical order.

Ambidexterity: If you invest in two disciplines with the ambidexterity skill, you can dual wield a fist and a small sized weapon

Enchant Weapon: If you invest in two disciplines with the enchant weapon skill, you may choose to use the skill as normal or instead charge for five seconds without spending a life point.

Fear: If you invest in the fear skill twice, by spending 1 LP you can swing Fear twice within the same combat.

Immunity to Disease: If your character obtains the Immunity to Disease skill twice through race and discipline choices, then you may study a disease to learn about it. If the disease in question has a hint attached to it, you may receive this hint for free. This stacks with other hint granting skills so that a master Sage (if it is a Sage hint) with two Immunity to Disease skills could receive a second level hint when applicable.

Immunity to Fear: If your character invests in the guthrie race and resist fears from two disciplines (thus giving you two immunity to fears), then upon being struck by a fear, you may immediately swing for fear against your attacker. This is to represent the fact that you have become so impervious to fear that it instills fear in those pretending to be scary. You are encouraged to openly mock your opponent before, during, and after returning the fear blow.

Iron Fist: If you take Iron Fist twice, you gain a +2 knockout

Resist Fear: If you take resist fear twice you become immune to fear.

Resist Poison: If you take reist poison twice (Dwarven Druid) you become immune to poison
