... I think it's pretty accepted that the first level skill of Seer... is a joke. Not only is it arbitrary based on how the GM or NPC chooses to word a hint, but if you're not in just the right place at the right time, the skill is pointless.

I would like to propose changing it to Necroposy. This makes MUCH more sense for a SEER to be able to be at a scene and 'look into the past of the place' to see what might have taken place. This would stack with any other Necroposy skills.

Strictly speaking... we can DO the first level skill already. If a Seer is 3rd level, and has Recall... they can just sit at NPC camp for 30 minutes and GET 2 random hints anyway. So, it's really rather redundant when you think about it.

I don't have a problem with visions, but having necropsy instead would be cool for them too.
