Diverse Training

Post by Aladon »

Grants you the ability to purchase a Level 1 Discipline from a different lifestyle.
How does this work exactly? Does it only allow you to buy the first level of the Discipline, or can you buy further into the Discipline after your first level?

If it doesn't let you go further than the first level does it still use up one of your 4 discipline spots?

Seemed kind of silly to me that you'd have a 'perk' that effectivly let you lock one of your 4 discipline spots into only going one level, so I thought I'd ask for some clearification.

In my experience, I've only seen its use getting only level 1 of a discipline.

It was a way for savage folks to snag disguise, or privileged characters to get scout (which I think with the rules changes this is no longer viable)

First Level Only

Yes it takes up a pot on your discipline list, but a PC can have as many disciplines that they can buy...they are not limited to 4....

I am unaware of any rule change that would make this no longer viable.

Wow, I was going off the character sheet and didn't read the actual rules. Thanks Kaylan, now I see we can go beyond 4 disciplines.

The cost for skills of your fifth, and subsequent disciplines...are the same as for your fourth discipline.
