Hey this was already discussed. When I went to Holly Saturday, there were people shooting for a movie.

*edit*

I think I found it. This sounds like the one they were shooting.

Isn't that one more of a documentary on a Darkon LARP?

OH, I don't know if any of you know the guys that filmed the video at the pharm, but one of them wants to make a LARP documentary.

No. The Darkon movie is... "Darkon" (http://www.darkonthemovie.com/)
Everybody and their brother has a larp documentary out or in the works. So many that I'd say any would be movie makers have missed the ship on being original. LOL

Is FH, CARPS or WH in any of those documentaries? It's not neccesarily about being original from the LARPS side of things, more about the possibilities of getting some free promotion.

well fing A cotton, ill get right on that, soon as i finish the promo for sharded. but to really get a good documentary i need ooc commentary from the characters themselves, serious comentary, such as introductions, and how they feel about roleplay and larp, and about what goes on, its more than just putting up video you know.

There has been quite a bit of talk at both CARPS and FH about making a promo. I have script written up for a film short but it wouldn't neceesarily make a good promo. If anyone actually does a promo I'd certainly be on board with any help I could give.

Outside of that though, I don't think making promos and\ or a documentary in house has to supplant or preclude someone else including the games in their documentary. I'm talking to him about coming out to one of the Serenity games we do next year and possibly coming out to a couple games this year to observe. Of course if he does end up doing that I'll make sure to run it by those games GM's
