cloaks and packets

Post by marduk »

All you packet throwers out there:

Have you experienced difficulty with large cloaks getting in the way?

no. I have had trouble in MELEE with a big cloak.

but there has been debate on if a packet STRIKES a cloak should you take it. And I think it's a no.

It didn't get in the way of my throwing, but it did get in the way of my reaching into my satchel from time to time

That is a nice side note:

As a packet thrower, how big of a "bag" should one have to hold the packets one will need? (hopefully less than 80) ;)

depends on how much you throw and what else you're doing. I had an army surplus medic bag that I used. It was the phys rep for my extra carrying capacity, but also held my packets, rope, healer's bag, tags, potions, etc. It was convenient to carry, didn't get in the way, and as a healer, it was the phys rep for my gear.

The bigger the bag the more packets you can throw...just don't carry around a 30 gallon trash bag or something like that, unless you plan on casting Firestorm.
