I gotta say, the ninja has it right on this one. There were more plot lines than there were pirates...

And not one of them got resolved... not a single damn one. Count em folks... did any get resolution? Nope, nada, negative ghostrider the pattern is full. This movie was nothing more than a 2 1/2 hour trailer for Pirates 3 : Starring Keith Richards as big Poppa Sparrow... WTF?!

And to think I liked that first movie... *sigh*

You say that like its a big deal. I mean ... Krakken aren't that big a deal, at least not in Blondie's games.

I liked the movie but it certainly was a setup for three and can't stand on it's own as a movie without 1&3. I think I'm gonna start a website Askabrotha.com seeing as Chapelle already had ask a black man.

I agree that there was too much going on and not enough was resolved in the film as far as it standing alone, but I disagree that it was a bad movie. Not as good as the first, but not as bad as some sequals.

My friend Meg hit the nail on the head: she called it...

Pirates of the Carribean 2: The Empire Strikes Back.

SO fitting...

And Empire can easily stand on it's own as a great movie without the other 2 or 5. DMC on the other hand, would fall into the decent movie, with a really crappy ending category.

I don't see it as Empire Strikes back it's more like Back to the Future part Two. Felt like the first one, but with slapstick flying skateboards and everyone is old and lame...

But in the next one... cowboys!! ::Claps excitedly::
