I'm glad you enjoyed yourself, Brago. :)

There are a lot of sad, pathetic people in this world. I don't understand Hate, I guess I'm too lazy. It takes too much energy to hate someone.

In general, they're all hairy.

Hmmm...the flow if this conversation reminds me of one grouchy smurf...

Honestly, west Michigan doesn't impress me much when it comes to being fair and open-minded. Then again, prejudice is a bit too prolific for my taste in general. Maybe I'll listen to Taki and be zen.

I have seen nothing to support West Michigan is any worse then East Michigan. There are stupid people everywhere you go.

While I am not saying that in my experience West is worse than East. I would point out a couple of facts:

Although we are a Blue State, we are only so because of the numbers of counties on the East side of the state:

West Michigan is known for being originally populated by extremely christian, up-tight Dutch.

People in Flint are easily frightened by one little riot at a football game....which they started :)

Matt, I agree. They're everywhere you go. I guess for some reason, maybe the one Lambic just said, I keep running into it more here.

Well, most of the people I know who live over there are in college areas that seems to be more diverse (East Lansing and A2). I dunno. Social circles and all that.

Augh! ~_~ Racist Bastards!

Post by Daku of the North »

Like I said to my dear Lord Ravinal before...I simply take comfort in the fact that I am not so ignorant and hateful as those who cannot look beyond the color of one's skin. It is not a body that you love a person for (granted, it is a bonus), but their heart and soul. Having been brought up in a very racist white family, I had every chance in the world to grow up like them...but I knew that it was wrong no matter what....and I'm better than that. It hurts me to know that my family would disown me if I wanted to marry a non-white (Native Americans are the exception), but I still love freely regardless of all that.

Hatred is not the path to righteousness.
