I don't think you need the advanced skill if you use a hero point to deal damage. It's the no blocking thing that gets you.

No I don't want anyone to have instants, I was the one that thought the 2 second min should be in effect for hero point usage just like it is for any other skill time reduction method, it follows rules already established, it prevents instant 30 magics and vorpal whatevers. I don't think assasins an...

Some people lay pretending to be dead for hours in civil war reenactment. I would go crazy, but to each their own.

The old system was not heroic for anyone but warriors so that certainly shouldn't be the solution. How is it at all fair to say you can do 9 ko instantly but not something else? 9 KO is as much a death sentence for most of the people on the field as 30 magic. The only people that doesn't ko are peop...

I think that Nelkie hit it on the head, what is the big beef? Or even the little beefs. All I read is that the GM's don't listen to some people, well those are some of the same people that think that noone ever listens to them unless they get their way all the time. Telling people over and over that...

A bladed polearm couldn't be poisioned, if you have 2 disciplines at 4 because you can't get the 3rd level in assasin. If you mean the "have to choose one or the other thing" then that would be a change because it's never been like that before and if it was then someone should have said so...

I don't see the problem with having the 1 combination where you have to wield a polearm hammer, have 2 disciplines at 4,(which means you can't have a path higher than basic) being able to stack. You're a one trick pony that can do 3 with a two-handed long weapon. Having to choose for the bonus damag...

I haven't had a chance to read all of this because it seemed to explode over a day or two but a couple things: 1. Ried and Nelkie don't run the show and if I were a GM I would be FURIOUS with anyone that said that and truly hurt that they believed it. I'm upset that people think I'd let that happen ...

An axe is both bladed and headed, it's like a polearm, they're bladed so you can coat them and they're a polearm so you can do a 5 vorpal(pikeman) poison(assasin) with it. If you happened to have one of those hammers on a long stick, it would be, blunt, headed and a polearm.
