Re: Action is the sole medium of expression for ethics.

The door shuts for not more than 10 seconds before it swings open (quieter this time) and Dakkon emerges, wearing his full suit of armor and carrying his longsword. His shortsword hangs from his belt. Not acknowledging Kaylan's obvious frustration, "We should wait for the high elf and the man w...

Re: A Cold Day at the Inn

Dakkon nods to everyone in the inn and follows Kaylan out the door, pulling his armor back on as he does.

Re: A Cold Day at the Inn

The dark elf takes a step back as Kaylan raises his hammer, his hand floating to the sword on his hip. "I don't mean any trouble. I am called, in your tongue, a Dark Elf. My people are cruel and merciless, stalking hunters and ruthless killers. While I share many qualities with my people, the o...

Re: A Cold Day at the Inn

The elf chuckles. "That got you moving." He sets down his hammer, his armor looking as good as new. "I do not know if the captives still live, but I am more than willing to show you where they ambushed me. I do enjoy revenge now and again." He pauses for a second, looking over hi...

Re: A Cold Day at the Inn

The elf slowly pushes himself to his feet, his hands glowing a faint red. His wounds look less severe than they did minutes ago. Slowly he turns his gaze to Kaylan. You don't feel like he is staring at you, more like staring past you. "I appreciate your concern for the floor, however as long as...

A Cold Day at the Inn

The inn door swings open, blowing cold wind through the room and making the fire flicker. After several calls of "Close the door!" a man staggers through into the inn. His face is entirely wrapped in black cloth, not even his eyes showing. He has a large shield and a longsword strapped to ...

Re: October 2014 Feedback

I finally had enough time to think about what I wanted to say and get it posted, so here it is: This was my first FH event in about 1.5 years, after moving to Texas and now back to Michigan. Overall I had a great time in-game and out-of-game. OOG: It was really nice to catch up with people that I ha...

Re: An Afternoon Ale

Xil's face instantly fills with rage. He swiftly rises to his feet, fists clenched on the table. "By who's hand!?" he roars, "Surely no resident of Haven would commit an act such as this! This would be considered treason against the crown!" Visibly shaken, he follows Mahto out of...

Re: An Afternoon Ale

The inn door opens slowly and Xil enters the building. His eyes look more weary than you've seen before, no doubt a side effect of many late hours managing an entire town. He nods to Rothek as he sits down across from him, next to Gondowon. "It has been a while, friends. How have you been?"...

Re: Handmade LARP Ears - No Spirit Gum Required!

I'm genuinely interested, despite living in Texas. What is the material these are made from? The reason I can't use most traditional prop ears is an allergy to a component in cheap latex that is also shared with face paint. Do you have a website with everything "in stock" or is everything ...

Re: Legality of a Madu

I would guess they are not FH legal, and in fact I haven't seen a single LARP they are allowed in because they are unsafe due to the mass they put behind the weapon portion. That's about what I figured as well. I've been using one at Amtgard (Which is obviously a different kind of combat system) so...

Legality of a Madu

For those who don't know, a Madu is essentially a small shield with a sword attached. Here's a picture from google: http://www.warlordsports.com/content/images/thumbs/0000265_center-grip-madu.jpeg Would these be legal in Final Haven? I couldn't get a definitive answer from the rulebook, but it's pos...
