OK so it's open source medieval fantasy, I think Blade Runner would still count as fantasy. :P I don't think so, I've thought about doing a futuristic one day at some point and I don't think medieval or anything like that is actually mentioned in any of the skills, other places in the book maybe but...

Do quality points count in the armor type? I'm assuming no but want to make sure.

Why is it written into the rules that armor not fitting into medieval fantasy setting will be rejected? I thought this was supposed to be open source? Couldn't somone use the rules for a futuristic apocolyptic LARP?

I dont consider coats to be anything over light armor. I hate to even count them as that. So Atrum's armor shouldn't be full light, even though I have everything covered except my head, groin and posterior. :wink: It may be only "light" but I'd rather be in any of the medium I've ever see...

Different things for different uses.

Those sharks can still break your bones, they couldn't in plate although they could puncture the plate easier.

Right which is why I said if he added pauldrons he should get full coverage medium.

I never liked the cross a joint thing, I look at CJ's armor and think he should get full legs because it covers the thigh all the way around and the calf area all the way around. If he had long pauldrons I would say he should get full arms too because then he'd have most of his arms covered as well,...

Chain with something else under it that would be considered armor SHOULD be considered heavy.
