Re: Jarl Discipline
You are correct...NOPE there is NO reason a savage cannot own a holding. Glad you agree.

Re: benefits to wearing "real" armor
And, I think you are simply wrong on this. ;) Its a good thing its been shown that when special powers or items, have a tag explaining EXACTLY what it does, issues related to mis use of that power/item nearly or totally vanish. Means I am not. No, players have always been a pain in the ass. I just ...

Re: Magus Spell mechanic and spell change suggestion
Id rather talk to the magus you have seen using spells that they think give them 100 soak....or the ones you say have....
abilities that make them damn near unkillable.

Re: Jarl Discipline
Farms, mines, and mills are common. history shows differently. A common discipline would certainly be able to MAXIMIZE a holding better, but there isn't a reason a savage cant OWN a holding. Hell with the open RP track record, it could simply be an organized and concerted effort to gather naturally...

Re: benefits to wearing "real" armor
Im surprised that, since you were part of running a chapter, you do not realize how incorrect you are. Maybe its due to the current player base, compared to the one you had. You are simply wrong on this.

Re: benefits to wearing "real" armor
I do not support tags attached to items. Good thing that was never suggested then... This is a matter of players needing to know what their stuff is and if they want to reap the benefit they need to ask a GM. Once they know if it's 'real' or not then they don't need a tag. which will never happen s...

Re: Deep pockets
Since to have an intelligent and useful conversation on the spell everyone involved should read the fucking thing: Deep Pockets – (Changed) – 4 Essence; 1 Minute charge; Standard (2) You may only target yourself with this spell. Each casting of this spell increases your Carrying Capacity by 10. For ...

Re: Deep pockets
The number of replies you get isnt relevant, because no one is used to the fact that they have to check in here. They dont know about it, they wont do it. Facebook is a turd. Period. There is no way there to have the rules discussion be organised and easily traceable. Once the player base understand...

Safety / Weapon marshals
The chapters need to have a trained safety / weapon marshals to inspect phys reps for safety. They would also do shield sizing numbers for players and phys reps, and eval armor phys reps as real armor or not, whether it qualifies for the armor phys rep life point, and what areas it covers. The phys ...

Re: benefits to wearing "real" armor
That is pretty much how it works, WHEN the staff is able to inspect the phys reps. 1)I think there needs to be a certification tag of some sort, and the phys rep evaluated every year (maybe). No need to bog down logistics every event. (this also leads into the chapters having trained weapon marshals...

Re: Magus Spell mechanic and spell change suggestion
well...no one get s 100 soak since the cap is 50....
Id also like to test this statement that they are near unkillable, because I haven't seen it...ever.

Re: Jarl Discipline
So you dont see the savage having farms or lumber or mines? I know historically they arent the fastest on the uptake for such things, but hell the native Americans farmed corn at a minimum.

Re: Jarl Discipline
How so, since its a mix of two different non savage disciplines. The goal was to provide a savage discipline that had the "own a holding" skill because currently...savage does not have one, which makes ZERO sense.
