Re: Final Haven changes for 2014

Well, if you want a reply... I'm ambivalent, leaning towards Art's idea/no jump at all. With very rare exception, I have always come up with a character and concept and let the roleplay dictate how the character evolves. This is LARP, not a novel. I'd much rather have other characters/events influen...

Re: It's Good to Be Home

Her skullfeathers tweak at Levi's eye color, but she makes no other reaction. "I was just having a look, no need to get your tailfeathers in a twist. I don't steal from Havenites... unless they're asking for it... or if they stole something first... or if I'm gettin' paid for it... or he smells...

Re: It's Good to Be Home

"Glad I could be of help. It's rare I find someone who can approach things from different angles like that. That's what perspective is, seeing it from all the different viewpoints, all the sides, yours mine and the truth, and everythin' else." Cirrus reached down into her backpack, withdra...

Re: It's Good to Be Home

Gondowon had managed a feat, miraculous to some. The Av'yana before him was speechless, jaw slack and beak agape. A full minute passed in silence as Cirrus merely stared at him, shock plain on her face, blinking slowly and merely autonomously. She jumped as Gondowon did, sending the last few drops o...

Re: It's Good to Be Home

"Ah... I wasn't clear. Might not've been exactly the same houseplant I was used to seeing in Lethnal, but it looked like it, so I called 'em dracaena. Somethin' normal and harmless, and causin' you to drop your guard." Cirrus took another swig of the concoction Barry had brought. "I g...

Re: October 2013 Feedback

I do not know if I feel the same way about chip draws as Amanda does. I use first aid and surgery a lot, so it is not like people are not dropping. Maybe focused plots for people over level 50 that have assassins coming after them, increasing their mortality rate. Also, my opinon on this could be p...

Re: It's Good to Be Home

Cirrus gave a nod to Barry as he dropped her drink, the warm scents of cinnamon, apples, and whiskey curling up in the steam from the mug. She cupped it almost reverently in her feathered hands, the vapors disappearing into her beak as she closed her eyes for a deep, noisy inhale. A rueful grin tilt...

Re: It's Good to Be Home

Cirrus' head lifted and rolled juuust enough for her to open one eye and watch the door as Gondowon opened it, and she lifted a hand in greeting. "Oi, Barry. Put a Caledonian brandy on my tab for Gondowon. He saved my feathered boop more than once, and he's certainly not talking his way out of ...

Re: It's Good to Be Home

"That'd be fanfrellingtastic. You might want to get the stocks open, I have a feeling everyone else coming back from Gateway will want one as well. And no Korrigan Specials please." She gave Barry a weak grin before letting her head slump back again.

It's Good to Be Home

A series of heavy thuds sounded through the Tipsy Traveler, interrupting the calm autumn afternoon. The first was a taloned foot striking the worn door, the second was the door smacking the wall behind it, the third was a haversack dropped beside a chair near the windows, and the last was an Av'yana...

Re: October 2013 Feedback

I really enjoyed this event. Before I get into the event proper, I want to make a special section for the rules being playtested at this event. Healer Playtest: Why is this still a playtest? There are healers who have never used the old rules. I *am getting to the point where it would be better for ...

Re: August 2013 Feeback

I had a pretty good time this event, but there were a few issues that kept me from enjoying it to the fullest. Good: RP, duh. I loved the little opportunities both the GMs and the PCs created to allow each character to take their own spin on things. Special shout outs to Special Fred, the massive sn...
