I was always particular about the theme song from the tv show Firefly. Especially because my new WH character is kind of a frontier, used to be military guy who escaped a kingdom-death similar to Haven's. Take my love, Take my land, Take me where I cannot stand. I don't care, I'm still free; You can...

It's called AT-43. Made by a French company named Rackham. Pretty cool- I can even stand the fact that it's prepainted instead of bare metal, because half of the minis are up to my actual painting standards, much less the 'mechs. There's no way I could paint the walkers as well as they are without a...

Yeah, I wish. This is about the limit of what I can summon up for a game right now: http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s274/Aegisgrimm/AT43002.jpg http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s274/Aegisgrimm/AT43001.jpg http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s274/Aegisgrimm/AT43006.jpg And that's like every urban...

Hey, man.....I used to love GW games this much awhile back. I'm just a sucker for the new girl on the block. It's all I can do not to go crazy talking about Heorscape- it was my second miniatures game I ever owned (first being Battlemasters). I was hooked from the start. (Plus, AT43's only been out ...

I've seen Tannhauser at one of my LGS' and thought it looked interesting. Personally, I have to tout AT-43 as an awesome game. It's like Warhammer 40,000, but plays alot smoother, without losing any of the detail. It's kind of a retro-50's sci-fi game, with the two main human armies being basically ...

Damn straight. I have Battle Master and Heroquest. I got started playing War Hammer 40,000 about 12 years ago (yes, and I'm only 25). Now I play a new Sci-fi game called AT-43, by Rackham. It's prepainted, which is both good and bad. I love to paint, but not 35 identical models. Pretty awesome game,...

Dorfus Chickenfanny?

And that's my real name.

All Durgan gets me is Dorfus Chickentush.

Then my WH character is Dorfus Wafflebutt.

Man, it's kinda creepy how alike they are..... I swear I don't have thing about butts. :?

I'm wait for the event where everyone will hear

"Gamestop! Anyone who is currently diseased, you now have a Goa'uld. 3-2-1 Game on!"

Hah! Then I'm immune if I play Garritt from WH! He is evidently already a Tok'rah, even though it was completely unintentional, I swear to Anubis.

Here's my thoughts: First of all, I like the current resource system. When we threw a wrench into the mix and asked the GM's whether we could skin the armadillos and Rhinos at the Sept. FH event (which garnered us a supply of unique 'researchable' hides), it was really cool compared to something dro...

To me, stating that Dumbledore was gay has about as much relevance as stating his favorite color- and I'm a self- admitted huge fan of the books. I mean, cmon! Straight, bi or gay, does anyone really want to picture the old codger in any kind of 'loving' situation? *Shudder* Of course, I always figu...

Damn, that sucks a bit. My character's entrance was going to be at the head of a small group (say 10-12) of refugees from the Fishing Village. He was originally a Blacksmith, but the extreme situation made for a turning point in his life (he had to step up to become a leader and a fledgling warrior ...

Heck yeah, they do. The Pennsic War (a SCA event) can have up to 10,000 people attend. And yes, they have full size battles, sometimes with actual in-game siege engines.

My new character for FH is just waiting to find out about next years event timeline- as in, does the first even take place only days after Corbyn's betrayal, or something more like a month or two? I mostly ask because I would prefer to introduce him in-game outside the fort, (as a sort of scripted e...

No matter whether I would have lived or died if things were different, I just wish I could have helped more, both as Durgan and as 'Chris the player'. ----------------- Durgan felt pretty lonely during his last day of life, like somehow he just wasn't enough of a warrior for anyone to want to includ...

Although, I did hear from one of the GM's that there was a (very) unlikely ending that involved the spell 'Ug's Fuzzy Bunny' (the one that uses a core made from a fire elemental go bang), but it vas slightly different in that it used the Fire King(!!!!) instead of a Fire Elemental. Talk about a fina...
