Important for all Attendees of October 2006

As thoroughly embarassing and humiliating as it is to announce, I feel that my pride is less important than the truth here, especially since so many have kids, too. I discovered late last night that my son and I both have a case of head lice. I'm certain that based on my symptoms (I had an itchy sca...

For the same reason that Christen, Aaron, Eric and Vince have voiced: I am here to have fun and this is fun for me ... It's a difference in gaming philosophy. I respect their right not only to have their own opinion but to pursue their own fun, even if I don't agree that it's the best for everyone. ...

Don't worry about the speck in your FH buddies eye when you have a plank in your own . Nobody is worrying about anything. I've already said multiple times there is nothing that can or SHOULD be done about it. But I have the right to point to it as an observation to explain a phenomenon that somebod...

The problem comes with physical representations. What's to say that someone couldn't be faking pain but not actually taking damage? Or pretending to be stuck to the ground, but really just staying put til you turn your back? Or faking like they're scared or even dead and it not actually be the case?...

Also, I do not understand how you can judge if a person is doing something for OOG reasons or not except in the most obvious of cases... The GM staff interacts with alot of the characters ALOT via PM and such and for the most part you players have no clue what each other is doing behind the scenes....

I agree with Nelkie and Reid. I think she's doing this just to throw me off. LOL I'm sorry if my empassioned disagreement with you on the theory of roleplaying makes you think I don't think you're a smart guy who's right occasionally ! ;) Hear me, Reid. I like you. As far as the rest of thi...

Hmm I have not seen anyone do anything against a character concept they choose to play just to help or stick by their OOG friends. Infact I do not think Tonia or anyone else on this board except for other GM's can make that statement since we are the only ones who have access to the "true"...

I agree with Nelkie and Reid and think that both PCs and NPCs should announce whether something effected them or not. I don't care if it's a resist or immunity, but if something didn't effect a being (whether magic, damage or an effect call) we should be told so that we know it had no effect.

How does playing with the same group of people the person wish's to play with, harm ones roleplaying experience? Please explain. For this is a game, and I play this game for fun. There are multiple ways to answer this, but quite simply it comes down to this: When you pre-determine (by preference or...

Obviously there are huge ranges of RP skill and ability or willingness to commit time and OG resources, and everyone has their perspectives (elitist or not) on what makes for a great LARP experience or what characteristics make someone a great LARPer. Because of this, I personally don't have much p...

#1 - People are doing things about Amagus. Not every time someone does "something" does it mean that it's killing the person or extraordinarily overt. #2 - Your "excuse" that you did nothing as a Hell Fury Dwarf about a Necromancer in your town because you were conducting an Out ...

As usual, Chris, you're jumping to conclusions about people getting angry.

I like Reid.

I just disagree with what he's saying.

Coming from a man who has personally professed to me and others on occasion that he doesn't go to Final Haven to roleplay, nor does he even feel comfortable "roleplaying" and that "I'm just here to kill shit," I give your comments little weight. Especially considering you've neve...
