Two funny memories...

In reflecting about this past weekend to give my feedback, I recalled two very funny scenes and thought that I'd share them here with you: SCENE A: Grok, Dallid, Curufin, Brikal, and Ravinal are in the woods waiting for the signal from Ug, Ka, and Corbyn to charge onto the field during the town capt...

Okay, no. :) Do not take away the power of a FOURTH level alchemist, who already has to quest for 2 (maybe 3) components and has to find the third component or kill someone for it (the heart). Then that potion is a component in and of itself? As it stands, Master Alchemists are essentially useless u...

Well I hate rehashing this, but again I thought it was mention that I thought we mentioned the lack of cabins at the in-game meeting last event. Infact some people who dont go to CARPS seemed to recall us telling people that the cabins were going away. That said I am still sorry it was unclear. Whi...

Taki -- You and I had a brief conversation today and so you understand my mindset, but please take this post with a grain of salt... This isn't about whether Brighton Rec is screwing us or not, it's about communication and consideration. I'm frustrated as hell because with as much other planning as ...

I guess if those are my options, then I'll choose the latter...since tenting is a bad idea and you've dropped the "find your own arrangements" in our lap.

And by the way, I totally concur with Natalie. It's a major bad idea to have plot tents as it is, but you get a bunch of people camping on land in that part and they can summarily kick the entire group out IMMEDIATELY. If you guys plan on doing this, please let me know, because then I am DEFINITELY ...

Man, I have to say, I hope I am not overreacting, but reading this post REALLY pisses me off. When were plot people planning on telling the players that they didn't have any place to sleep??? I understand that the cabins are being torn down and that is *not* your fault, but communicating with your p...

Yes, you can rewrite your character - any and all skills, lifestyle, race, background story, etc. As far as explanations in game, unless the rewrite is minor (i.e. a few skills), you should just play a different character altogether. The game and world of Phantara has mechanics for you to "unle...

If it's second edition, we'll take it off your hands. Check it out and let us know!

Actually, that goes for any of you with old games (board games, RPGs, card games, etc). Brian and I generally collect them and play the crap out of them, so we're always looking to replace stuff. :)

Did I miss something? Lenk, did you post something nasty and I missed it? I was cheering you on in terms of your post regarding playing in good faith, was there some undercurrent there that I mistakenly supported?

Now I'm starting to feel retarded...

Making it so that a "hit in the back" counts as a backstab promotes ugly reaching around and unsafe melee. I suggest using the general "planar" concept for backstabs. Assuming your target's shoulders make a line extending out, if that line would cross into you or if you are on th...
